緣起

道教係我國固有之本土宗教，源遠流長，歷久彌新，與民俗相揉合，是大多數國人共同信仰之宗教。不但對我國社會產生過長久之安定作用，對我國之文學藝術，及科學和建築等科技，均有重要的發明、貢獻和影響；與我國之學術思想史、政治思想史及民族革命史，亦有密不可分之關係。

然而道教發展至今，因應時代變遷、人民遷移與適應地域氣候不同之變化，道教活動雖有千變萬化的表現樣貌，卻仍舊與庶民生活存在極密切的關係。

不過「道教」真侷限如坊間所見，或視聽節目中所介紹般，僅具備部份功能性之宗教需求，甚或動輒被冠上迷信、低俗、陳舊、迂腐等稱號，這些誤解與偏執之印象其來有自，但絕非是「道教」的原貌，亦非我輩道教徒所樂見之結果。

元太道堂自102 年度首次舉辦文山區「瘋‧神‧紀」_道教文化推廣活動後，獲得廣大活動參與者的迴響與支持，經過詳細的研究與策劃後，我們決定再次募資舉辦「瘋‧神‧紀」3活動來持續深入推廣傳統道教文化。
本次活動除修正前二屆內容之缺失與不足外，並將積極邀請各地方友宮一同參與閉幕式之祈福祀典與民眾之兌獎聯歡活動。期望能依此型式擴大並定位為本區獨特之宗教文化活動，除介紹道教文化信仰基礎，提供民眾正確宗教認知與服務，並同時帶動地方觀光旅遊、休閒產業及特色名產之推廣。

基於前兩屆活動之基礎，此次將專注於系統性的介紹道教之各教派源流，以及台灣目前道教之發展現況等主題。為增進參與民眾之深度認識，活動除提供包含豐富道教常識內容之『文化護照』，並將邀請知名相關研究學者定期舉辦宗教民俗專題講座，增進大眾之知識交流互動與散播，希望能藉此對於宣揚傳統道教信仰的正確認知與了解，灑下一片未來希望的種子。

Origin

Taoism, an indigenous religion of our nation, has a long and rich history, blending deeply with folk traditions. It is a common faith among the majority of people and has played a significant role in maintaining social stability. Furthermore, Taoism has made important contributions and had a profound impact on our country's literature, arts, science, architecture, and other technologies. It is also intricately connected with our nation's academic thought, political ideology, and revolutionary history.

However, as Taoism has developed to the present day, it has evolved in response to changes in the times, population movements, and regional climate adaptations. Although Taoist activities now exhibit a variety of forms, they still maintain a close relationship with the daily lives of the people.

Yet, is Taoism truly as limited as what is commonly seen or portrayed in media, where it is often only recognized for fulfilling certain functional religious needs or, worse, dismissed as superstitious, vulgar, outdated, or rigid? These misunderstandings and biased impressions have their origins but do not reflect the true essence of Taoism, nor are they the outcomes that we Taoists would like to see.

Since the first "Feng Shen Ji" Taoist cultural promotion event held in the Wenshan District in 2013 by Yuan Tai Taoist Temple, we have received widespread support and positive feedback from participants. After careful research and planning, we have decided to once again raise funds to organize the third ""Feng Shen Ji"" event, continuing to deeply promote traditional Taoist culture. This event will not only address the shortcomings and deficiencies of the previous two editions but will also actively invite local temples to participate in the closing blessing ceremony and the public prize exchange and celebration. We hope to expand and establish this event as a unique religious and cultural activity in the region, introducing the foundational beliefs of Taoist culture, providing correct religious knowledge and services to the public, and simultaneously promoting local tourism, leisure industries, and specialty products.

Building on the foundation of the previous two events, this year we will focus on systematically introducing the origins and developments of various Taoist sects, as well as the current state of Taoism in Taiwan. To enhance the depth of understanding among participants, the event will offer a ""Cultural Passport"" containing rich Taoist knowledge, and renowned scholars will be invited to hold regular lectures on religious folklore. This will encourage knowledge exchange and interaction among the public, planting seeds of hope for a correct understanding and appreciation of traditional Taoist beliefs.
